São Clemente Samba School, a Rio de Janeiro Carnival group with more than 3,400 performers, needed a faster way to coordinate its complex, fast-moving production across dancers, drummers, costume teams, and float crews. Before using WhatsApp, the team relied on phone calls, text messages, and in-person meetings, which made real-time collaboration difficult during the high-pressure Carnival build and performance process.

By integrating WhatsApp into its workflow, São Clemente created multiple group chats for different departments and used text, voice messages, photos, and video to make instant decisions and share creative updates. WhatsApp helped connect around 1,000 team members, improved coordination dramatically, and enabled the school to respond quickly to changes in costumes, floats, and music, resulting in a more unified and show-stopping Carnival performance year after year.
