Shield HealthCare, a leading medical supplies company, built Core2 to replace a complicated AS/400 billing and sales system but found employees faced a steep learning curve and lacked in-app support. Live training and an external LMS weren’t enough—staff had to leave the application to find answers, which slowed time to competency and hindered consistent adoption of Core2’s processes.
Shield implemented Whatfix’s digital adoption platform to embed walkthroughs, smart tips and a Self Help tab directly into Core2, allowing trainers to rapidly create step-by-step guides and export videos. The in-app guidance enabled learn-by-doing, reduced time to proficiency, improved retention, and extended training support across departments; Shield plans to continue expanding Whatfix for future Core2 updates.
