How integrating Whatfix’s Digital Adoption Solution with BeerBoard’s SmartBar platform improved employee training and client engagements

BeerBoard is a Syracuse-based food & beverage technology company whose SmartBar platform delivers real-time bar performance and inventory insights to retailers, brewers and distributors across the US and Canada (3,567 users). Faced with high hospitality turnover, the need to roll out contactless SmartMenus, and a desire to deepen client relationships while reducing support load, BeerBoard needed a faster, more consistent way to train employees and empower clients to self-serve.

In August 2017 BeerBoard integrated Whatfix’s Digital Adoption Platform into SmartBar to provide in-app, step-by-step workflows and a centralized knowledge base. The solution was easy to implement and gave users immediate access to training and answers, cutting training time and costs (saving roughly eight minutes per workflow), boosting productivity, reducing support inquiries, and increasing client independence and engagement with the platform.
