Acorn Improved Recruitment Efficiency With In-App Training & Embedded Workflow Support

Acorn, part of the global Synergie Group and a UK-based recruiting agency, needed a better way to onboard new recruiters and help them adopt Bullhorn ATS as the company scaled. Traditional classroom training and static materials were slow, inconsistent, and led to errors in key workflows, creating compliance and data accuracy issues. Whatfix was brought in to provide in-app guidance and support.

Whatfix implemented Whatfix DAP on top of Acorn’s Bullhorn processes using Flows, Task Lists, Pop-Ups, and Self Help to deliver role-based, in-the-flow-of-work training. The results were significant: onboarding time dropped by 80% from 10 weeks to 2 weeks, user knowledge retention reached 84%, support queries fell by 98%, and Acorn saved 2,454 hours annually, equal to $42,946 in productivity gains, while also improving compliance and ATS data accuracy.
