Paving the way for easier navigation in Pakistan with TPL and what3words

TPL Maps, Pakistan’s leading digital mapping company, is partnering with what3words to tackle the country’s chronic addressing problems. Confusing, inaccurate or non-existent addresses in Pakistan often force people to rely on local knowledge and landmark-filled directions, causing lost journeys, delayed or missed deliveries, and general navigation frustration.

Over the next year TPL will integrate what3words into its mobile navigation app, web map and in-dash units used by automakers, and an Urdu version of what3words is in development to make discovery and sharing easier. These integrations aim to deliver faster, more accurate and less stressful navigation—especially in poorly addressed locations—improving routes, deliveries and everyday wayfinding across Pakistan.
