Infotech, a leading GIS and location-services provider in Turkey, delivers vehicle tracking, navigation and POI-rich mapping through its LocationBox platform. The company faced a common challenge: street addresses and place names often lack the precision or coverage needed for reliable geocoding, leaving users, couriers and field teams at risk of arriving at the wrong location.

To fix this, Infotech integrated what3words — a global grid that assigns unique three-word addresses to every 3 m x 3 m square — into its LocationBox map portal and Web Geocoding/Reverse Geocoding API. The integration makes meeting points, deliveries and asset referencing far more accurate and user-friendly, helping tourists, couriers, utilities and government teams reach the right spot first time and improving customer service and operational efficiency.
