In2Care is a Dutch company that develops household tools to control mosquito‑borne diseases, including insecticide‑treated eave tubes for malaria and vegetation‑hidden traps for larvae and adults. These interventions require regular servicing—twice yearly for eave tubes and every 6–8 weeks for traps—but locating houses and devices is a major logistical challenge in dense forests, open savannas and informal settlements with no street names or house numbers.

In2Care adopted what3words to assign and record a unique three‑word address for each tube and trap, captured in the Geospago app alongside device and household details. This made installation, geo‑tagging and routine maintenance fast and unambiguous, removed GPS transcription errors, and significantly improved field efficiency and coverage—an outcome project leader Dr. Bart Knols called a “massive breakthrough.”
