Travellers—especially those unfamiliar with a destination or who don’t speak the local language—often struggle to find hotels, arriving stressed or confused, which creates a poor first impression for properties.
To solve this, HDC partnered with what3words to add precise 3‑word addresses to every partner listing. Guests receive the hotel’s 3‑word address in their own language and can navigate directly (including to parking, valet and disabled entrances) accurately and with minimal data use. The result is simpler, faster arrivals, fewer wrong destinations—particularly at remote sites or where hotels share names—and an improved guest experience.
