Niislel Guide is a monthly shopping and entertainment magazine for Ulaanbaatar that highlights events and recommends places to explore, distributed in print around the city and as a PDF online. Finding places in Ulaanbaatar is difficult for visitors and locals alike because of few street names, inconsistent building numbers and an unfamiliar language and alphabet, making many venues hard to locate.

To solve this, Niislel Guide partnered with what3words and printed a three‑word address beside every place featured. The 3m×3m accuracy lets readers navigate to specific entrances rather than whole buildings, making the city’s venues far easier to find, opening up Ulaanbaatar’s culture to tourists and encouraging locals to explore new areas.
