TripActions, a business travel startup, needed a way to expand beyond its Palo Alto headquarters and open local offices around the world without locking itself into long-term leases. With WeWork, TripActions opened a private office suite in San Francisco and then expanded into additional locations including London, Amsterdam, Sydney, and New York. WeWork helped TripActions hire and retain talent globally, deliver new office locations on time, and maintain one consistent point of contact. The impact was significant: TripActions grew from 40 to 400 employees in a year, built six WeWork locations, and reported that employees coming into offices were 46% more productive than those working from home.
