GE Healthcare Korea optimizes costs and reinvigorates their culture

GE Healthcare Korea, a regional arm of GE Healthcare, needed to address underutilized office space in Seoul caused by long-term leases and shifting business needs. The company wanted a more flexible workplace that could reduce wasted spend, improve efficiency, and support a culture of collaboration and empowerment. WeWork was brought in as the workspace partner.

WeWork designed, built, and operated a customized 15,000-square-foot office in Seoul, with fewer fixed desks and more flexible areas for collaboration, networking, and events. The project was completed in just eight months and helped GE Healthcare Korea save money, simplify real estate operations, and create a more open, engaging environment. WeWork’s global access memberships also gave employees access to WeWork locations across Seoul, improving flexibility and productivity.
