Ehrlich Pest Control, a division of JC Ehrlich with more than 2,000 employees, faced inventory and asset-management problems caused by outdated, disconnected ERP systems (JD Edwards and Infor), five warehouses and 90 branch locations, and the added complexity of EPA‑controlled products and seasonal demand. To modernize operations and improve forecasting, Ehrlich engaged Western Computer to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009.

Western Computer guided the Dynamics NAV 2009 implementation and delivered barcoding and warehouse management, a consolidated fixed‑asset system, integrated payment and freight processing, sales‑tax automation, and an intranet sales portal with product‑suggestion functionality. The project cut inventory variances dramatically (from six‑page variance reports to as few as three items), improved order‑fulfillment accuracy and customer satisfaction, enabled a two‑day month‑end close, and improved seasonal forecasting to reduce overstock while boosting margin management.
