TeamSnap achieves 100% revenue growth YOY with WePay

TeamSnap, used by nearly 20 million coaches, administrators, players and parents, provides mobile and web tools for scheduling, registration and communication for sports teams. The company struggled to get customers to adopt online payments because third‑party payment flows were cumbersome and many preferred cash or checks rather than setting up external accounts, leaving TeamSnap with missed revenue opportunities.

TeamSnap implemented WePay’s fully integrated, in‑app payments (backed by J.P. Morgan Chase) to simplify the experience and improve fraud protection. By March 2018, 81% of customers were using the integrated solution and offline payments fell to 8.5%; the move produced rapid payments revenue growth (including a 444% increase in 2017 and double‑digit YOY gains) and positioned payments to exceed subscription revenue.
