Eventzilla is a full-service event registration and ticketing platform used by thousands of organizers to sell over 5 million tickets (more than $100M in gross sales). The company relied on third‑party payment accounts for ticket sales, which made payments cumbersome, limited adoption of integrated processing (roughly 20–40% of organizers), and constrained revenue and support efficiency.
Working with WePay, Eventzilla simplified the experience by streamlining messaging, surfacing the primary payments use case in the UX, and collapsing sign-up from two steps to one. After relaunching Payments in December 2016, adoption among new sellers jumped 200% (from 20% to 60%), time to first payment fell from 15 days to three or fewer, support response times were cut in half, and the company saw improved top‑line growth and customer stickiness.
