Apex Fitness Gym, a new fitness venture co-founded by Sarah Chaplin and Said in Oman, faced challenges common to the regional market: inflexible scheduling systems that frustrated members and a lack of integrated local payment processing. The gym aimed to differentiate itself with a modern, member-centric approach but needed a software partner that could handle its specific operational requirements, including the Paytab payment system. They turned to vendor Wellyx for a solution.

Wellyx provided its management software to power the gym's booking and payment systems. This implementation directly addressed Apex Fitness's core need for schedule flexibility and enabled seamless integration with the local Paytab payment gateway, a key requirement that other providers could not meet. The Wellyx team was noted for their "incredibly can-do" support during the launch preparation. As a result, Apex Fitness was able to successfully prepare for its opening, having already secured approximately half of its 135-member target prior to launch.
