A WellSky Case Study
Georgia’s Division of Aging Services (DAS) needed a way to keep seniors safe and supported during COVID-19, when volunteers were unavailable, meal sites were closed, in-person case management was difficult, and resources were stretched thin. To respond quickly while staying compliant and data-driven, DAS used WellSky Human Services as its case management and reporting platform.
WellSky helped DAS centralize aging services data, track needs and outcomes, monitor spending, and manage federally required reporting across programs. With better visibility and a continuous quality improvement approach, Georgia was able to prioritize high-need clients, expand meal delivery through local partnerships, and keep services moving forward—helping 37,780 consumers gain greater independence, delivering more than 2.8 million home-delivered meals and 1.15 million congregate meals, and supporting thousands more through ADRC, APS, and guardianship services.
