Employees Thrilled to Track Challenges With Text Messaging

The City of Sheridan, a municipal employer of about 180 people with many employees working in the field, struggled with a cumbersome wellness program that relied on pencil-and-paper activity tracking and manual HR data entry. To modernize tracking and boost engagement they turned to WellRight and its wellness platform — including an online portal, native mobile app, text messaging tracking and fitness device integration — to give field and office staff easy access to participate.

WellRight implemented a flexible solution that preserved Sheridan’s custom quarterly challenges and point system while adding text-based activity logging, device sync, and a library of pre-built challenges. As a result, the City of Sheridan saw major increases in program participation, program awareness, Lunch-and-Learn attendance and points awarded, along with improved efficiency and higher employee engagement thanks to WellRight’s platform.
