St Paul’s Garda Credit Union grows mortgage portfolio from €20m to €40m with Wellington IT

St Paul’s Garda Credit Union, a credit union for Garda staff and their families, faced a growing member demand for fixed-rate mortgages which its existing systems could not provide. To address this challenge and offer more competitive mortgage products, the credit union partnered with Wellington IT to implement its enhanced mortgage module.

The solution from Wellington IT enabled the credit union to offer new fixed-rate mortgages, automated the generation of loan offer letters, and provided a tool for automatically switching rates. As a direct result, St Paul’s Garda Credit Union's mortgage portfolio is predicted to grow from €20 million to €40 million within 12 months, significantly increasing its lending business and member service capabilities.
