St. Paul’s Garda Credit Union grows current accounts to 1,500 with Wellington IT

St. Paul’s Garda Credit Union sought to become the primary financial provider for its members and to retain younger members who were leaving when they reached adulthood. To meet this challenge, they partnered with vendor Wellington IT and its online banking solution, cuOnline.

The solution implemented by Wellington IT was the introduction of current accounts with a contactless Mastercard, coupled with the cuOnline+ platform. This allowed members to manage their finances completely online. The results were highly successful, with over 1,500 current accounts opened and 60% of all transactions occurring online. Wellington IT's solution helped St. Paul’s modernize its service and gain better visibility into member finances for risk assessment.
