Club Bayer São Paulo, a 46-year-old non-profit wellness association maintained by Bayer employees, faced falling membership and engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic and needed to reinvent its offerings with hybrid solutions. To add value for members and recover participation, Club Bayer partnered with Wellhub, adopting a corporate wellbeing platform that included Gympass Premium Access — a subsidized program giving members discounted access to digital and in-person fitness services.
Wellhub rolled out the platform and Premium Access to Club Bayer members in October 2021, enabling a hybrid mix of online and in-person offerings. The partnership drove measurable impact: Clube membership rose 21% toward pre-pandemic levels, Bayer employee check-ins grew 15% between December 2021 and January 2022, there were +131k check-ins between Feb 2021 and Jan 2022 (about ~13k monthly since implementation), and hybrid users were 21% more active than in-person-only users.
