A WellAir Case Study

Preview of the Międzyrzecz Hospital Case Study

Międzyrzecz Hospital cuts airborne pathogens by 62% with WellAir

Międzyrzecz Hospital sought to improve the microbiological purity of its air to enhance epidemiological safety for patients and staff. To address this challenge, the hospital deployed air disinfection devices from vendor WellAir, specifically its Novaerus units with NanoStrike technology.

WellAir installed its Novaerus devices in the Pediatric admission room and the Clinic of Pulmonology. The solution ran continuously, resulting in a significant reduction of airborne pathogens. In the Pediatric room, airborne colony-forming units (CFU/m³) dropped from 183.46 to 72 over one month. Similarly, in the Pulmonology Clinic, levels were reduced from 236 to 192 CFU/m³ within a week, demonstrating WellAir's effective impact on air purity.
