Meadow View Nursing Center, a 150-bed continuing care retirement community, sought to reduce its rate of respiratory nosocomial infections. Following implementation, Meadow View Nursing Center achieved a dramatic 77.42% reduction in total respiratory nosocomial infections, decreasing from 93 cases to 21. The results were significant on every floor, with the third floor experiencing a 95.65% reduction.
