Planday, a shift management platform for industries like hospitality, retail, and healthcare, needed to stand up its data operations quickly after being acquired by Xero and with no in-house data team in place. Weld set up a single source of truth in Planday’s data warehouse, helped build tables, and provided hands-on onboarding and support so Jakub Czapski, Planday’s sole data and analytics expert, could get established quickly. As a result, Planday gained a reliable data setup, accelerated its analytics groundwork, and is now preparing for omni-channel reporting, a customer 360 view, and company-wide self-service analytics, with Jakub noting he could not have achieved this in the same timeframe without Weld.
