Mellanox Technologies, a leading supplier of smart interconnect solutions, needed a modern file system to accelerate the performance of its data-intensive Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workloads. This was required to enable the design of more complex integrated circuits, and the company selected WekaIO and its Matrix™ file system to meet this challenge.

WekaIO implemented its Matrix™ software, the world's fastest file system, which delivers high bandwidth and low latency performance. The solution increased the efficiency of Mellanox's datacenter, keeping pace with their performance requirements while delivering exascale capacity. The integration proved successful for Mellanox's internal EDA workflow, and the two companies also have many joint customer deployments supporting deep learning workloads.
