House of Parliament VFX Studio, a fast-growing visual effects and creative studio, needed a way to support a global, remote workforce while keeping cloud infrastructure costs under control. Working on Google Cloud with Autodesk Flame, the studio faced the challenge of balancing high-performance access to massive media files with the steep storage and data-transfer costs that can make cloud post-production unprofitable.

Weka provided the Weka Data Platform to centralize and automate storage management across performance and object tiers, giving the studio high-speed access without keeping everything in expensive hot storage. The result was significant: House of Parliament cut its cloud storage costs by about 75% while maintaining higher performance, reduced duplicated data from multiple copies to a single copy for Flame jobs, and gained the flexibility to spin projects up and down efficiently across regions.
