Siemens AG automates traction power analysis with Weisang, handling up to 600 MB of simulation data

The customer Siemens AG faced a complex challenge in designing traction power networks for rail transport. Their simulations produced enormous volumes of data that were difficult to analyze using standard calculations, and they needed an efficient way to extract the right parameters and generate automated documentation. Siemens partnered with vendor Weisang GmbH to implement its FlexPro analysis software to master this data.

Weisang's solution utilized the FlexPro object database and its FPScript language to fully automate the analysis and export of simulation results into navigable HTML documentation. This implementation drastically reduced development costs and effort for Siemens. The high level of automation allowed engineers to concentrate on optimizing the network design, while the standardized software minimized programming expenses for future changes.
