WegoWise has Helped Peabody Properties, Inc. to Set a Precedent for Targeted Energy Improvements in Affordable Housing

Peabody Properties, Inc. (PPI), a full-service real estate firm specializing in multifamily property management and supportive living services, needed a better way to organize energy and water retrofit data across a large portfolio of affordable housing properties. As PPI expanded its efficiency efforts, the company wanted a tool to track performance, measure savings, and share results with funding partners. It used WegoWise by ecofolio to help manage this challenge.

WegoWise gave Peabody Properties accessible data visualizations and building-by-building tracking to monitor retrofit performance, document upgrades, and report results to lenders and other partners. With WegoWise, PPI has secured more than $9.9 million in funding for energy conservation measures and is saving over $2 million annually in utility costs across 78 properties and nearly 9.6 million square feet. The platform also helped confirm results like a 29% annual water savings at Kelly House, supporting replication of successful retrofits across additional buildings.
