Preview of the Paaspop Case Study

Paaspop opens festival season with Weeztix and 120,000 visitors

Paaspop, a large Dutch music festival, faced the challenge of managing an extremely complex ticketing operation. They needed to sell a wide variety of ticket types with different rules, host a separate business day, control on-site access across multiple zones, coordinate crew accreditation, and effectively upsell add-ons to visitors, all without creating confusion or operational chaos. They turned to the ticketing vendor Weeztix to find a solution.

Weeztix implemented a comprehensive solution that included a flexible ticket shop for all ticket types, a separate branded shop for the business day, and streamlined access control with segmented scanning. They integrated with the accreditation platform In2Event and provided a dedicated floating shop for upselling add-ons. The result was a streamlined operation where Weeztix acted as the central control panel for the entire festival, successfully handling a record 120,000 visitors across four days with clean access control and increased revenue from upsells.
