Bayer, a global pharmaceuticals and life sciences company with about 100,000 employees, needed to replace its former marketing and communications database with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system that would serve as a single source of truth, improve collaboration with press and design partners, and integrate seamlessly with its MarTech stack and brand universe. Bayer selected Wedia to deliver this DAM solution.
Wedia implemented a DAM and Digital Experience Management solution—connecting a media library (the “Mediapool”) to Bayer’s brand portal, adding advanced search and filters, user segmentation, collection sharing, AI-powered video/image management, and simplified account handling. As a result, Wedia’s platform gives Bayer global access for ~100,000 employees and external partners, centralizes brand assets (16,000+ items in the Mediapool), improves consistency and compliance, and streamlines press and partner workflows.
