Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles turned to Wedia to replace its legacy marketing database with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system that could drive rapid end-user adoption, give segmented access to importers, dealers and agencies, streamline approval and indexing workflows, and ensure compliance with GDPR across international markets.

Wedia implemented a multilingual brand portal and back office (English/German) with advanced user segmentation, a customizable shopping-cart/pricing workflow, template support for user assistance, and admin controls for price lists and terms. The Wedia DAM was adopted by about 2,500 international users, now holds nearly 30,000 assets, supports 257 importers and agencies, improved findability via multilingual metadata, streamlined approvals and indexing, and boosted productivity by at least 10% while delivering scalable, GDPR-compliant infrastructure.
