Webtrends Optimize helps VIP SKI drive huge uplift in online bookings

VIP SKI, a 30-year operator of luxury chalets and hotels across France and Austria, was seeing strong site traffic but low online bookings and rising phone-based workload for its sales team. To reduce friction and retain visitors through the booking funnel, VIP SKI engaged Webtrends Optimize to review the site, run baseline analysis and A/B tests using their optimisation tools.

Webtrends Optimize identified a pinch-point at the flights selection and deployed an exit-intent lightbox (desktop and mobile) to nudge hesitant visitors to request help or continue booking. Over a 19-day test the experiment drove a 12% increase in online bookings, improved progression past flights by +89.8% on desktop and +45.0% on mobile, and lifted booking completion by +5.7% (desktop) and +5.0% (mobile).
