Europcar, the Paris-based car rental company operating a fleet of over 200,000 vehicles worldwide, engaged Webtrends Optimize to lift online performance. With most bookings coming through its website, Europcar’s primary challenge was to increase average order value (AOV) and conversion rates while driving upsells of extras and add-ons at checkout; it selected Webtrends Optimize’s testing and targeting solution for its CRO expertise.
Webtrends Optimize partnered with Europcar to run A/B and multivariate tests, advanced segmentation and cross‑regional experiments (UK, Germany, Spain, France and the U.S.), optimising landing and book‑and‑pay pages and testing elements like CTA colors, extras visibility, discounts and form layouts. The Webtrends Optimize program delivered measurable impact: a 15% increase in online car bookings and a 12% increase in the sale of extras and add‑ons.
