SET Distribuzione, part of the Dolomiti Energia Group, operates in Italy’s tightly regulated Energy & Utilities market. New legislation obliged distributors to provide an online portal for connecting energy production plants to the distribution network, so SET needed to adapt and optimize its processes to comply with changing rules and manage the entire connection procedure digitally.

WebRatio built a BPMN-based web application integrated with SET’s SAP back end that supports online requests, automatic validation, alerts and email notifications, operator dashboards and end-to-end tracking.
