Staying Safe on The Job and Reducing Debt at Home

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) needed a unified whole-person well-being solution for its diverse workforce — nearly 30% in the field — to improve workplace safety and boost participation in corporate initiatives. WebMD Health Services helped launch the myWellness at PSE platform, leveraging role- and location-targeted content and integrations such as Vimocity for jobsite safety and SmartDollar for financial wellness.

WebMD Health Services implemented injury-prevention workshops, a Limeade–Vimocity challenge, SmartDollar financial programming, and community challenges (like a stair-taking campaign with the City of Bellevue), producing strong, measurable outcomes: more than 800 field employees joined the Limeade–Vimocity challenge with 98% reporting positive physical impact after the first workshop; 32% of employees participated in SmartDollar, eliminating nearly $400,000 in debt and raising personal finance confidence by 23%; and the stair challenge helped achieve a 5% energy reduction in Bellevue. These results demonstrate improved safety behaviors, reduced financial stress, and sustained engagement across Puget Sound Energy.
