Chili's (Brinker International) faced the challenge of scaling a holistic, five‑dimension well‑being approach—social, community, financial, physical and career—across thousands of restaurant Team Members to boost engagement, retention and business performance. To do this at scale, Chili's partnered with WebMD Health Services to deliver a centralized digital well‑being platform that could host challenges, assessments, incentives and integrations with existing benefits.

WebMD Health Services implemented a branded program of targeted challenges, assessments and benefit integrations, driving strong participation and measurable outcomes: 75% of employees completed the Well‑being Assessment, 67% of registered employees engaged at least every two weeks, Compass activations doubled in 2016 (with unique users in Jan–Jun 2016 exceeding the prior year), and the Brinker Family Fund grew to over $15M with more than 50% of Team Members contributing. WebMD Health Services’ platform enabled data‑driven adjustments that increased engagement and supported better retention and guest service.
