Case Study: AdventHealth achieves a unified, seamless well-being program and higher engagement with WebMD Health Services

A WebMD Health Services Case Study

Preview of the AdventHealth Case Study

How AdventHealth addressed multiple challenges as they’ve grown fast—from eliminating disjointedness in their well-being programs to better segmenting their diverse populations

AdventHealth, a 50-hospital health system with more than 63,000 eligible team members, faced fragmented and inconsistent well‑being offerings after rapid growth through acquisitions. To create a single, cohesive employee well‑being experience, AdventHealth partnered with WebMD Health Services and adopted the WebMD ONE platform, aiming to reduce supplemental programs, eliminate confusion, and segment populations by location, hospital group and health risks.

WebMD Health Services streamlined AdventHealth’s offerings—eliminating more than 20 supplemental programs—implemented WebMD ONE for easy population segmentation, and provided an engagement and communications team plus tiered incentives and digital options. The results included an 11% higher registration rate versus WebMD averages, 20–30% higher coaching participation, coaching cohorts with >3% weight loss, 62% of high‑cholesterol participants reducing total cholesterol, 87% of stage‑2 hypertension participants reducing blood pressure, doubled program site visits and a 60% health‑assessment completion rate.
