A Single Platform to Improve Employee Well-Being

Iron Mountain, a market leader in information management, was struggling with low engagement, a misaligned wellness program and high health-plan costs. To rebuild a whole-person approach to employee well‑being, Iron Mountain partnered with WebMD Health Services and implemented the LiveWell platform to centralize communications, incentives and well‑being activities.

WebMD Health Services customized LiveWell with strategic programming, a generous incentive structure, a dedicated onsite coach and many more screening events (17 in 2015 vs. 3 in 2012), and integrated over 14 health, benefit and internal initiatives. The result: 92% of employees reported finding resources on the LiveWell platform, noticeable gains in health, well‑being and productivity, and three consecutive years of flat healthcare rates.
