Unify helps a 65-year-old business grow with the flow

DiscountHydraulicHose.com (DHH) is a family-owned supplier of hydraulic fittings, hoses, and adapters with more than 65 years in business, serving industries from farming to mining. As DHH expanded online—selling via its Volusion store, eBay, and Amazon—its enormous inventory and multi-channel sales created slow, error-prone workflows: staff were manually typing thousands of orders into QuickBooks, requiring a full-time data-entry position and causing inefficiency and delays.

DHH implemented Webgility in 2015 to automate order import and QuickBooks posting, immediately cutting manual entry time (complex orders that used to take 15 minutes were posted in seconds) and enabling the company to replace the dedicated data-entry role with distributed automated processing. Within nine months orders grew while average processing time fell about 20%; accuracy, shipping speed, and KPI reporting improved; new marketplaces were added more easily; and redundant paper invoices were eliminated, saving over 10,000 sheets a year.
