Honeybee Gardens is a cruelty-free, all-natural cosmetics and skin-care company that grew from a kitchen-lab experiment in 1995 into an enterprise with 50+ employees, 130 products, and multiple sales channels. Rapid e-commerce growth exposed major operational challenges: manual order and shipping entry, mismatched product codes between their store (Miva Merchant) and QuickBooks, and time-consuming processes that took about five minutes per order and required the equivalent of two full-time data-entry staff.
Honeybee Gardens moved to Bigcommerce and implemented Webgility to automate integration between their store, QuickBooks, and shipping services. Setup was quick and eliminated manual mapping and shipping entry, cutting data-entry time from roughly eight hours to 50 minutes for 100 orders (and from ~5 minutes to ~30 seconds per order), improving inventory accuracy, reporting visibility, and scalability—allowing the company to handle higher order volumes and focus on growing their cosmetics line.
