The Prince of Wales Hospital engaged WebFM during its $720 million redevelopment, a large-scale program (planning from 2015, delivery through 2022) that adds a new emergency department, expanded ICU and psychiatric emergency care, inpatient units, operating theatres, a helipad and research spaces. The scale and complexity created a challenge to centrally manage construction information, assets, defects and to produce accurate facilities handover documentation. WebFM was brought in with its OmTrak building information management approach to address these needs.

WebFM implemented OmTrak Documents, O&M Manuals and OmTrak Siteworks, along with training and support, creating one central system to manage construction records, assets and defects. The solution delivered accurate project handover documentation for facility management and streamlined ongoing asset and defect workflows, ensuring the redevelopment’s operational information is complete and accessible for The Prince of Wales Hospital.
