The Ministry of Education, New Zealand, which manages a portfolio of some 2,500 public schools, faced inconsistent condition assessments because each school appointed its own project manager and used different approaches. WebFM was engaged to address this challenge, delivering a condition-assessment solution that drew on FM consulting and MPlan maintenance‑planning software.

WebFM implemented a standardized assessment methodology and deployed MPlan to produce complete 1–50 year maintenance plans, enabling rapid, consistent generation of works and project lists across the entire school portfolio. The result is a portfolio-wide, repeatable assessment process covering 2,500 schools and faster production of detailed maintenance plans, with the program ongoing.
