The Department of Education SA faced the challenge of handover, operations and defect management for Adelaide Botanic High School — South Australia’s first vertical school (opened 2019, $100M project serving 1,250 students) with complex, multi-storey spaces and strong sustainability targets. WebFM was engaged, supplying OmTrak O&M Manuals Software and the OmTrak Siteworks Software and App to address O&M documentation and defects tracking needs.

WebFM implemented OmTrak to centralize operations and maintenance manuals and to manage defects during construction and the defects liability period, streamlining handover and asset management across the connected six- and seven-storey buildings. The WebFM solution delivered clear, accessible asset records and efficient defect resolution, helping support the project’s environmental goals and its attainment of a 5‑Star Green Star As‑Built rating.
