The Department of Defence engaged WebFM for the $45m construction and commissioning of a space surveillance telescope at the Harold E Holt Naval Communications Station in Exmouth, WA. The project required strict compliance with defence digital delivery guidelines and a reliable central system to manage O&M manuals, site works documentation and handover/takeover processes across metropolitan and remote contractor teams; WebFM proposed its OmTrak solution.
WebFM implemented the OmTrak Documents module plus O&M Manuals and Site Works modules, handling system setup and providing training and support for contractors in both metro and remote regions. The OmTrak system adhered to the Defence’s digital delivery rules and was successfully used as the central repository for manuals, integration of new and existing assets, and handover documentation, enabling compliant, consolidated delivery for the Department of Defence project.
