Auckland Prison engaged in a $270m, 25-year PPP to deliver a new maximum-security facility and faced the challenge of capturing assets, compiling O&M manuals, and managing large volumes of construction data to ensure an orderly handover. WebFM was brought in to support Building Information Management using its OmTrak solution to organize siteworks, asset capture and documentation throughout the build.

WebFM implemented OmTrak to progressively upload and manage documents and asset data during construction, streamlining the handover and finalizing O&M manuals on schedule. The result was an efficient, lower-risk handover process—timely delivery of O&M materials reduced the likelihood of delay costs and contractual penalties and improved ongoing facilities maintenance readiness.
