Richards Bros is a family‑owned bus and coach operator in South Wales with a 65‑vehicle fleet and about 20 scheduled routes serving a large rural area. Faced with tight margins, variable rural roads, summer congestion and the need to satisfy public‑sector performance monitoring, Richards Bros needed real‑time vehicle location, two‑way communications, navigation and crew time monitoring to improve punctuality and reliability. They turned to Webfleet, deploying a fleet tracking solution using LINK 300 devices.

Webfleet fitted 27 service buses with the tracking devices and provided live vehicle locations to the traffic office in Cardigan. As a result, late running has been virtually eliminated, customer complaints have fallen dramatically, and the company can timestamp arrivals to refute incorrect claims.
