Palletised load specialist sees efficiency gains from TomTom Fleet management system

H&M Distribution, a palletised-load specialist operating from depots in Warrington, Bedfordshire and Gloucestershire with a 30-vehicle Palletways fleet and over 1,000 deliveries and collections each day, needed to keep pace with tight 24‑hour customer expectations. They required accurate ETAs, real‑time vehicle location, instant and safe driver communication, and better routing to cut mileage and fuel while increasing daily collections. To meet these needs they selected Webfleet’s integrated telematics solution, including LINK tracking devices, in‑cab satellite navigation/communication units and the WEBFLEET fleet management software.

Webfleet implemented the LINK devices and navigation units tied to WEBFLEET so bookings are dispatched online to drivers, acknowledged on the device, and routed using live HD traffic — while office staff monitor vehicles and KPIs via the WEBFLEET dashboard. As a result, H&M Distribution says it now completes roughly 30% more collections per day, benefits from more accurate arrival times and improved operational visibility, and has clearer data for decision‑making and further integration to speed order handling and invoicing.
