A Webfleet Case Study
Marshalls, the UK's leading manufacturer and supplier of hard landscaping products with more than 200 vehicles, faced repeated problems with disparate telematics systems that fed its dynamic planning system, REACH. After an industry-wide review and rigorous tender, Marshalls selected Webfleet and its WEBFLEET Software as a Service (SaaS) offering to replace previous providers and deliver a fully integrated telematics solution.
Webfleet deployed the WEBFLEET SaaS platform with PRO series truck terminals, LINK boxes and ruggedized tablets (supporting ePOD, EDIFACT and eDefect), rolled out in phases with small-group driver training. The Webfleet implementation has delivered strong driver feedback, improved truck satnav accuracy and safety monitoring, and is driving measurable benefits — Marshalls is targeting 10% savings across the business (notably fuel savings) and has already used reporting from Webfleet to expand its driver training team and track reduced emissions and fuel use.
