Dudman Group, a South Coast haulage, quarry and concrete supplier operating around 40 vehicles, needed to reduce administrative burden and eliminate paper delivery tickets. They required electronic signature capture, accurate HGV routing and GPS tracking, plus telematics reporting for driver behaviour and improved dispatch/ETA communications. Dudman selected Webfleet’s TomTom Telematics solution (TomTom PRO 8275 driver terminals) alongside a third‑party e‑ticket app to address these challenges.
Webfleet installed TomTom Telematics in 25 of the fleet with PRO 8275 terminals and integrated the AllOnMobile e‑ticketing app to deliver paperless tickets, daily checks, job scheduling and signature capture; truck‑specific maps, TomTom Traffic, GPS tracking and driver‑behaviour reporting improved dispatch and customer ETAs. The project eliminated pre‑printed tickets, sped loading times and drove an estimated £44K annual saving, with capital expenditure repaid within 18 months, plus clearer customer communication and tighter driver performance management.
