C&S Motor Group, a Greater London recovery operator with 60 recovery trucks handling over 50,000 call-outs a year, faced the challenge of meeting time‑based SLAs in unpredictable urban traffic and needed up‑to‑the‑minute visibility of vehicle availability. To solve this they worked with Webfleet, deploying TomTom’s ACTIVE connected navigation package — the LINK black box and GO in‑vehicle units — integrated with their existing job management software.

Webfleet’s WEBFLEET platform delivered real‑time tracking, touch‑screen messaging and satellite navigation that was plugged into C&S’s Garage Manager via a Turbo Dispatch link, giving control room staff exact ETAs, on‑scene and release alerts. The result, according to managing director Andre Cox, was a massive increase in efficiency: better utilisation of skilled crews and expensive recovery vehicles, faster and more reliable communications, improved response times and customer satisfaction across their 60‑truck operation handling 50,000+ annual call‑outs, plus cost‑effective running costs and useful management reporting.
