A Webfleet Case Study
Blackbourne Integrated M&E, a UK mechanical and electrical contractor with a 45‑van maintenance fleet (40 used reactively), needed to improve fleet efficiency, reduce driving time and cut its carbon footprint. To meet these goals the company chose Webfleet, working with partner Agnew, and deployed Webfleet’s LINK routing system together with ecoPLUS fuel/MPG monitoring and vehicle trackers.
Webfleet’s solution gave 24/7 fleet visibility, OptiDrive driver scoring and the ability to dispatch the nearest engineer, while integrating service, tyre, MOT and tax schedules. The results from Webfleet were significant: an 88% reduction in speeding, a 66% reduction in accidents, a 5% cut in CO2 emissions and an 8% fall in average miles driven per day, with faster response times and improved driver behaviour.
